airport, Lourdes and the mountains. Les Arbres offers comfortable and
well maintained accommodation for 10 people with a private pool and two
acres of grounds including woodland. A rural retreat, yet only a mile
from town.
Les Arbres is peacefully set in its own enclosed grounds of two acres at the top of a hill. It has a private pool (safely fenced) with sun terrace, a large shaded terrace to enjoy alfresco dining as well as a barbecue and grassy dining area ideal for those long summer evenings. There is also a childrens play area with swings and large games field as well as an indoor games room. The woodland (pictured right) provides welcome shade and a safe place for children to play and explore.
Soak up the sun by the pool or relax on the terrace with a jug of the delicious and plentiful local red wine. Recharge your batteries and forget the stresses of modern life, enjoying the space and freedom of the countryside but with all the convenience of amenities nearby.
Les Arbres is situated a mile outside Maubourguet, which is a small country town with a good supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Maubourguet has two rivers running through it and an 11th century church (pictured left)
The area around Maubourguet is largely rural and unspoilt and the property offers breathtaking and unparalleled views across the Adour plain.
The house is extremely well equipped and open all year (and fully centrally heated). It is also an excellent place for an off peak break to enjoy the woodland walks and fantastic mountain scenery in Spring and Autumn. Winter breaks present the perfect opportunity to try your hand at skiing or snowboarding in the Pyrenean ski resorts an hour away.
