Restaurants fall into three main categories:

  • Those offering traditional Perigord menus where some of the food is pre-prepared. Set menus for around 13 euros for lunch / 18 euros for dinner. Great value but don’t expect great cuisine.
  • Better quality restaurants serving seasonal, local produce where menus change with the seasons. All food is cooked fresh on the premises. Set menus start at around 20 euros and all our recommendations below offer delicious food.
  • Snack bars at the swimming lakes, typically serving paninis, pizza or food with chips for around 8 euros a main course.
